About Us

THE Cleveland Women’s Bowling Association was founded in 1917. We were among the first association for female bowlers in the United States and the first in the state of Ohio. Later we joined the former Women’s International Bowling Congress (WIBC) which merged in 2006 with the national men’s and youth associations to become the United States Bowling Congress (USBC). One of our founding members, Jo Mraz went on shortly after we were established to help form the Ohio Women’s Bowling Association, which is still in operation today, in Dayton, Ohio.

We are proud of our long and illustrious history in the sport of ten pin bowling.
